He succeeded former chairman Hyun Man Choi, who had worked alongside Mirae Asset Financial Group chairman PARK Hyeon-joo since the group's early days, to lead the second generation of professional management at Mirae Asset Securities.
He is regarded as someone who has a deep understanding of chairman PARK Hyeon-joo's global expansion strategy.
