Seo Jeong-ho is CEO of Lotte Wellfood.
He was born on April 4, 1969.
He graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in industrial engineering and completed an MBA program at the University of Michigan’s business school.
He worked as an engineer at General Motors (GM) before moving to Samsung Corning Precision Materials, where he served as head of the Planning Group.
He moved to Doosan, where he served as head of Technology and Strategy and chief operating officer of Doosan Solus.
At Hankook & Company, he served as executive vice president of the Strategic Planning Office, vice president of the Future Strategy Office and vice president and head of the European Business Group of affiliate Hanon Systems.
He joined Lotte Wellfood as head of the Innovation Task Force, leading efforts to improve profitability and business efficiency, and was officially appointed CEO in March 2026.
He is leading a business overhaul by eliminating low-profit products and inefficient sales channels and improving the efficiency of production, logistics and procurement.
He is also stepping up efforts to expand the company’s global business, with a focus on India.
