Life Summary

Park Seong-soo is CEO of Daewoong Pharmaceutical.

He leads Daewoong Pharmaceutical under a co-CEO system with CEO Lee Chang-jae, taking charge of overseas business and research and development.

He was born in June 1976.

He graduated from Cheongju Shinheung High School and the College of Pharmacy at Seoul National University, and earned a master's degree in pharmacy from the Graduate School of Seoul National University.

He joined Daewoong Pharmaceutical in 1999 and served as head of the Development Planning Team, Business Development Team and Pharmaceutical Affairs Team. He also served as head of the company's U.S. subsidiary and head of the Nabota Business Division, before becoming executive vice president overseeing the Nabota business.

He was appointed CEO of Daewoong Pharmaceutical in March 2024.

He led the business for Nabota, a botulinum toxin product that is one of Daewoong Pharmaceutical's flagship products.

He presented a blueprint to usher in an era of KRW 1 trillion (US$ 719.4 million) in operating profit by achieving "KRW 1 trillion per product," or KRW 1 trillion (US$ 719.4 million) in sales from each of Daewoong Pharmaceutical's three major new drugs — Nabota, Fexuclue and Envlo.

He is also focusing on the development of obesity treatments. He is working to develop obesity treatments differentiated from existing products through "long-acting injectables" and "microneedle patches."
