Kim Sung-Kwon is the chairman of CS Wind.

He was born on January 26, 1954, in Jeongeup, North Jeolla Province.

He graduated from Jeonju Shinheung High School and Chung-Ang University’s Department of International Trade.

He joined Kukdong Engineering & Construction and worked in Saudi Arabia.

He was recruited by BMTC WICKE, a U.S. steel company, and worked in purchasing.

In 1989, he founded Jungsan Precision, a steel structure manufacturer now known as CS Wind.

He rapidly grew the company through a glocalization strategy.

Based on the potential of the renewable energy business, he entered the wind tower market and built the company into the world’s No. 1 manufacturer of wind power towers.

He is focusing on strengthening the company’s fundamentals by strongly pushing for productivity improvements.
