Kim Eu-gene is President and CEO of Hanssem.
While focusing on improving the company's fundamentals and maintaining a profit-making trend, she is also speeding up Hanssem's leap into a “space solutions company” based on digital transformation and brand premiumization.
She was born on September 3, 1981.
She graduated from the Department of Computer Science at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) and earned a master's degree in business administration from Seoul National University Graduate School.
She joined Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and worked as a consultant, then joined IMM Private Equity as a managing director, where she led acquisition deals involving Hollys F&B, Lezhin Comics, and Tailim Packaging.
In 2017, she became CEO of Hollys F&B (Hollys Coffee) and concurrently served as CEO of IMM Operations Group. While serving as head of IMM Private Equity's IMM Operations Division, she was appointed Executive Director and CEO of Able C&C (Missha). In August 2023, she was selected as President and CEO of Hanssem.
She is an expert in corporate value enhancement and mergers and acquisitions.
Based on profitability-focused management centered on business fundamentals, she turned Hanssem back to profit.
She also serves concurrently as Vice President of IMM Private Equity and as a non-standing director of Able C&C.
