Yoo Myung-soon is the CEO of Citibank Korea. She also serves as the chair of the board of directors.

She is working to grow Citibank Korea into a key affiliate of Citigroup.

She was born on November 8, 1964.

She graduated from Ewha Womans University with a degree in English Education and completed an MBA program at the Graduate School of Business at Sogang University.

She joined Citibank Korea and worked as an analyst in the Corporate Credit Review Department, a credit officer in the Multinational Corporations Department, head of the Multinational Corporations Division, and head of the Corporate Finance Products Division before serving as executive vice president.

She later moved to JPMorgan Chase Bank as a branch manager. She returned to Citibank Korea as head of the Corporate Banking Group, served as senior executive vice president, and was appointed CEO in 2020.

She is a corporate banking expert who has worked in the corporate finance field for more than 30 years.

She is the first female CEO of Citibank Korea and also the first female CEO of a private commercial bank in South Korea.
