He served as Head of the Planning Division and Head of the Future Technology Research Institute at HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering, and has served as CEO of HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering since 2023.
In October 2025, he was appointed CEO of HD Hyundai Marine Solution.
