Kim Tae-woo is the CEO of Hana Asset Management.

He graduated from Kyungseong High School in Seoul and from the Department of Business Administration at Yonsei University. He received a master’s degree in international finance from the Stern School of New York University in the United States.
He began his career at Hana Bank and later served as Head of Equity Management at Mirae Asset Global Investments and as a portfolio manager at Fidelity Investments.
Beginning in 2016, he served as CEO of Daol Asset Management (formerly KTB Asset Management), and in 2023, he was recruited as the first CEO of Hana Asset Management after it became a wholly owned subsidiary of Hana Securities.
He is a former star fund manager who ran the Discovery Fund, and he is an asset management expert with about 30 years of experience in the industry.
