Life Summary

Choi Yoon is the Chairman of OK Financial Group.

He has been working hard to shed the image of a loan business by focusing on social contribution activities while preparing to transform the company into a comprehensive financial group.

He was born on September 6, 1963, in Nagoya, Japan, and is a third-generation Korean Japanese.

He graduated from the Department of Economics at Nagoya Gakuin University.

He once ran a restaurant called “Shillagwan,” and in 2002, he founded a venture capital company named OneCash in Korea.

When a subsidiary of the Japanese loan company A&O Group was put up for sale, he formed the JNP Consortium with other Korean Japanese businesspeople to acquire it, then launched an aggressive marketing campaign under the “Rush & Cash” brand.

Following the acquisitions of MizuSarang, Korea IB Finance, and Yes Credit Information, he also acquired a savings bank, which he reorganized into OK Savings Bank, marking his company’s exit from the loan business.

In 2019, he changed the company name from Afro Service Group to OK Financial Group.
