Lee Yoon-mo is the CEO of Volvo Car Korea.
He was born on May 7, 1966.
He earned a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Hanyang University Graduate School.
He began his career at Daewoo Motors’ Asia and Middle East Export Division and later worked at BMW Korea as Dealer Development Manager and Executive Director of Sales and Aftersales.
In July 2014, he was appointed CEO of Volvo Car Korea.
He is recognized as a seasoned sales expert with extensive experience in the automotive sales sector.
He is credited with driving significant changes in Volvo Car Korea’s service and marketing divisions.
Under his leadership, the company’s revenue grew eightfold over ten years, but operating profit sharply declined, revealing certain limitations.
The company now faces multiple risks, including a debt ratio approaching 800%, deteriorating non-operating income, intensified global supply chain and ESG regulations, and frequent quality issues and customer service complaints.
