Lee Kwang-hee is the President and CEO of Standard Chartered Bank Korea.
He has centered his management on strengthening wealth management services for high-net-worth clients and enhancing global corporate banking.
He was born on March 15, 1966, in Seoul.
He graduated from Wesleyan University in the United States with a degree in economics and completed an MBA program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
After gaining experience in international finance at Merrill Lynch International’s branches in New York, Hong Kong, and Singapore, he served as Managing Director of the Corporate Finance Division at UBS Securities Seoul Branch.
At Standard Chartered Bank Korea, he has held key positions including Head of Global Corporate Banking, Head of Corporate Banking Division, and Head of Corporate Banking Group, before being appointed President and CEO in 2025.
A seasoned expert in global corporate finance, he now faces the challenge of improving the bank’s profitability.
