Life Summary
Kang Jin-mo is the Chairman of ITCEN Group.
He was born on September 18, 1968, in Sangju, North Gyeongsang Province.
He graduated from the Department of Physics at Ajou University and earned a master’s degree in Engineering Management from Yonsei University Graduate School.
He began his career at Daou Technology.
After attempting to start his own business, he was forced to halt the venture due to the aftermath of the IMF crisis and later joined Yeolim Technology, where he was responsible for the network equipment business.
In 2005, he founded the IT service company ITCEN. He became chairman in 2017, stepping down as CEO, but returned to the position in March 2024.
Through aggressive mergers and acquisitions, he expanded the company’s scale and diversified its business into areas such as gold trading platforms, digital asset tokenization, and challenges toward establishing a fourth internet-only bank.
He has also served as President of the Korea Information Processing Society.
