Wang Sam-dong is the Head of the Business Division and CEO of Daehan Shipbuilding.
He was born on March 11, 1968, in Gwangju Metropolitan City.
He graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in Business Administration.
Wang began his career at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (now Hanwha Ocean), where he served in various key roles, including Head of Strategic Planning and Head of Business Planning.
In January 2024, he joined Daehan Shipbuilding as Head of the Management Division and was promoted to CEO in March of the same year.
Since taking office, he has pursued a management policy focused on “profitability-driven growth,” leading initiatives in selective high-value orders and production efficiency innovation.
In 2024, the company achieved KRW 1 trillion (US$ 719 million) in revenue, and in August 2025, it successfully raised KRW 400 billion (US$ 288 million) through a KOSPI listing, leveraging its eco-friendly and high-efficiency ship technologies.
He is currently focusing on maintaining profitability and strengthening the foundation for sustainable growth.
