Life Summary
Yoon Sung-tae is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Huons Global and also serves as CEO of its affiliate, Huons Lab.
He was born on July 13, 1964, in Asan, Chungcheongnam-do, as the son of the late Chairman Yoon Myung-yong.
He graduated from Inchang High School in Seoul and earned a degree in industrial engineering from Hanyang University, followed by a master’s degree in project management from Hanyang University Graduate School.
After working at IBM Korea, he joined Gwangmyeong Pharmaceutical (now Huons), which had been founded by his father.
In 1997, following the sudden passing of his father, he was appointed President and CEO of Huons. In 2016, he became Vice Chairman and CEO of Huons Global, but in 2022, he stepped down as CEO and withdrew from day-to-day management.
In 2025, he returned to management as Chairman and Co-CEO.
He has built a three-pronged business portfolio in pharmaceuticals, health functional foods, and aesthetics.
With a vision to grow into a centennial company, he is focusing on global expansion, social contribution, and the development of innovative new drugs.
