Choi began his career in 1988 at the Economic Research Institute of Korea Securities, later serving as Head of the Financial Research Office at the Long-Term Credit Bank of Korea and working in the Management Team at Samsung Securities.
He joined FnGuide as Chief Financial Officer and Head of the Financial Research Institute, and was promoted to CEO after just one year.
In 2021, he was appointed President and CEO of BC Card, and in 2025, he secured a third consecutive term.
He is widely recognized for his expertise in the convergence of finance and data, having introduced the industry’s first financial information business model based on data utilization.
