He served as Head of Human Resources at CJ, Head of the Management Support Office at CJ CheilJedang, and Head of the PI Initiative Office at CJ Logistics. In 2014, he was appointed CEO of CJ Freshway. He became Co-CEO of CJ CheilJedang in 2020 and was appointed CEO of CJ Logistics in 2021.
In 2024, he took office as Vice Chairman and CEO of CJ CheilJedang.
He is the first person from an open recruitment background to rise to the position of vice chairman.
He is widely regarded as a rational leader who avoids setting unrealistic business plans or goals.
