After working in the planning division at Pungsung Precision, he was appointed CEO and President of Bumwoo Engineering (now BHI) in 1998.

BHI is a power equipment company that holds core technology for Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG). As of 2024, it is the global leader in market share for HRSG.

The company is expanding into renewable energy businesses such as spent nuclear fuel storage and research on HRSG systems compatible with hydrogen co-firing and full-firing. Its goal is to become an environmentally friendly global energy solutions provider.
