Life Summary

Lee Jae-sik is the founder of Namseoul University and the chairman of the Seongam Academy Foundation.

Rooted in Christian values, he is dedicated to nurturing individuals with character, intelligence, and practical skills.

He was born on April 8, 1935, in Jangsu, North Jeolla Province.

He graduated from Namwon Middle School and Yongseong High School in Namwon, then earned a degree in nuclear engineering from Hanyang University.

He began his career at the Korea Institute of Metallurgical Materials.

In 1968, he established Sudo Academy, a preparatory school for the national qualification exam, and in 1994, he founded the Seongam Academy Foundation. He went on to establish Namseoul University.

He served as vice president of the Korea Federation of Private Educational Institutes and the Association of Korean Private University Foundations. He also serves as the director of Sudo Academy.

Even in his nineties, he continues to work actively as the chairman of the board.
