Lee Seok-hee is the President and CEO of SK On.

After joining Hyundai Electronics, the predecessor of SK hynix, he pursued further studies in the United States and earned a Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from Stanford University.

He worked at Intel for 11 years before becoming a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).

He later joined SK hynix as Executive Vice President, where he served as Head of the Future Technology Research Institute, Head of the DRAM Development Business Division, Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Head of Corporate Management Support before being appointed CEO.

After stepping down from SK hynix, he returned nearly two years later as CEO of SK On, the SK Group’s next-generation growth engine focused on the battery business.

He values communication with employees and promotes a “management for happiness” philosophy.

He is known for his meticulous nature and bold approach to business execution.
