In 1991, he joined Dong-Ah Construction. In 2002, he moved to POSCO Construction (now POSCO E&C), where he served as Head of Business Planning for the Building Business Division, Head of the LCT Project Division, and Head of the Building Business Division.
In December 2024, he was appointed President and CEO, three years after becoming head of the division.
He is the first internally promoted CEO of POSCO E&C in 13 years and is recognized as an expert in the housing and construction sectors.
