After being promoted to an executive position, he served in major posts within the Lotte Shopping Mart Division (Lotte Mart), including Head of Product Division, Head of Marketing Division, Head of Merchandise Division, and Head of Customer Division.
In December 2019, he was brought in as a turnaround CEO to lead the Lotte Shopping Super Division (Lotte Super). At the time, he drew attention as the only “Lotte man” among the heads of several Lotte Shopping divisions.
At the end of 2022, he was appointed CEO of Lotte Himart.
