He joined Lucky Securities, the predecessor of NH Investment & Securities, and built over 20 years of experience in sales, serving in roles such as Head of Retirement Pension Sales, Head of Pension Trust Sales, and Head of WM (Wealth Management) Sales Division 1.

In 2013, he was appointed President and CEO of Woori Investment & Securities, and in 2015, he became the first President and CEO of NH Investment & Securities, which was formed through the merger of NH NongHyup Securities and Woori Investment & Securities.

After resigning from NH Investment & Securities, he was appointed CEO of LS Securities in 2019, just one year later. Following a three-year term renewal, he succeeded in being reappointed for an additional one-year term in 2025 despite legal risks.

He is known for his “big brother leadership,” actively communicating with employees.

He is the older brother of Kim Jae-won, former Supreme Council member of the People Power Party.
