Kim Jong-suk is the Chairman of Pyunghwa Holdings.

He was born on February 22, 1953, in Sangju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, as the eldest son among five sons and one daughter of Kim Geon-gi, the former honorary chairman of Pyunghwa Industry.

He graduated from Daegu High School and the Department of Metallurgical Engineering at Inha University.

He joined Pyunghwa Industry and, after 10 years, became the CEO and President of the company in 1987.

In 2006, he transformed Pyunghwa Industry into a holding company structure and has since served as the CEO and Chairman of the holding company, Pyunghwa Holdings.

He has played a pivotal role in advancing Korea’s rubber industry by localizing automotive parts such as oil seals and O-rings.

He is currently focusing on improving the company's financial structure through business restructuring as deficits continue.
