After Seoul Bank was merged with Hana Bank, he held positions including Head of the Southern Regional Headquarters, Head of the South Chungcheong and North Chungcheong Regional Headquarters, Head of the Daejeon Sales Headquarters, and Head of the Chungcheong Business Headquarters. In 2015, he was appointed CEO of KEB Hana Bank, the merged entity of Hana Bank and Korea Exchange Bank.

He served as Vice Chairman of Hana Financial Group before being appointed CEO and Chairman of Hana Financial Group in 2022.

Ham has consistently achieved excellent results in sales based on his diligence.
