Lee Bae-goo is the founder and honorary chairman of Yangjisa.

He was born on January 20, 1949, in Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do.

He graduated from Konkuk University with a degree in law.

After graduating from university, he worked at Anseong Glass Industry before founding Yangjisa in 1976 and starting the diary business.

In the mid-1970s, when the culture of record-keeping was not well developed in South Korea, he became the first in the country to produce corporate notebooks and diaries in earnest.

Yangjisa's slogan, "The Platform of Thoughts, Yangji Diary," emphasizes the diary's function in driving the growth of individuals and companies through the recording of thoughts.

In line with the "paperless era," he is actively seeking business diversification.
