Lee Auh-ryong is the Chairman of Daishin Financial Group.
As the only female owner-manager in the securities industry, she leads the group alongside her eldest son, Yang Hong-seok, Vice Chairman of Daishin Securities, and Oh Ik-geun, CEO of Daishin Securities.
Marking the 60th anniversary of its founding, she renamed Daishin Financial Group to Daishin Financial Group and is pursuing a strategy to expand global business and investments to achieve a goal of KRW 10 trillion in equity capital.
She was born on September 9, 1953, in Goesan, Chungcheongbuk-do.
She graduated from Sangmyung Women's Teacher's College with a degree in Physical Education.
She married the late Yang Hoe-moon, former Chairman of Daishin Securities, and they had two sons and one daughter.
She lived as a housewife but participated indirectly and directly in management during the three years her husband was ill.
After her husband's passing, she immediately became the Chairman of Daishin Securities and has been serving as the Chairman since the founding of Daishin Financial Group.
