Yoon Eul-sik is the President of Korea University Medicine.
He also serves as the Vice President for Medical Affairs at Korea University.
As the head of Korea University Medicine, he oversees the operation of its five medical campuses.
He is dedicated to presenting a blueprint for the future of medicine in South Korea and focuses on training physician-scientists.
Born in 1964.
He graduated from Korea University College of Medicine, earned a master's degree in medicine from Dongguk University Graduate School, and a doctorate in medicine from Korea University Graduate School.
As a plastic surgeon specializing in breast reconstruction, lymphedema, and fat surgery, he was the first in the country to introduce robotic breast reconstruction surgery.
He has served as the Chairman of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the President of the Korean Society of Breast Plastic Surgery, the President of the Korean Association of Private University Hospitals, the Vice President of the Korean Hospital Association, and the President of the Korean Association of Training Hospitals.
After serving as a professor of plastic surgery at Korea University Ansan Hospital, he moved to Korea University Anam Hospital, where he served as the Vice Director of Clinical Affairs and Hospital Director.
He is working to elevate Korea University College of Medicine, which is approaching its 100th anniversary, to a world-class medical brand.
