Choi Oe-chool is the President of Yeungnam University.

He was appointed President in 2021.
In 2012, during the Saenuri Party's presidential primary, he served as a special advisor for planning and coordination for Park Geun-hye's presidential campaign and later as a special advisor for planning and coordination for Park Geun-hye, the Saenuri Party's presidential candidate.
